On my next visit to Ortahisar, Jon and Naomi, personal friends from New York came with me to help with my project. They immediately fell in love with the village, and the children fell in love with them. While Jon and I got the house ready for the colder weather (when the classes would move indoors) Naomi and the growing group of children worked together outdoors. They were so wonderful together that Jon and I often stopped work to watch. .
